In Progress Counts
Starting Gratitude Beacon was hard for me. I kept saying I wanted to talk with people about the conversations that shape our lives, but I was intimidated. I started by writing one sentence. That turned into a post, then another. Now I’ve got notes on more topics than I can get to. The first step is always the hardest, and I’m glad I took it.
You’re allowed to be proud of yourself today. Not later, not after some imaginary finish line. Right now counts. In progress counts.
So what’s one small thing you’re proud of right now? Doesn’t have to be finished. Doesn’t have to be impressive.
And if somebody names something you’ve been trying to work up to yourself, tell them. Sometimes that’s the push.
