I have to confess. I used to think my value as a person was tied to my title, my salary, or my productivity. I’m grateful I learned the hard way that it isn’t true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I was someone before any of those labels. I had to get back to who that was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your work is something you do. It’s not the whole story of who you are. Once my identity was anchored in something deeper, I took setbacks less personally. The failures became part of the process, and the sting doesn’t last as long as it used to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
