Taking the Leap: Facing the Fear of Change

Every time I’ve made a major change, it’s been scary. Starting a new job, taking a leap on a business, or stepping into a role where I felt completely out of my depth. Trying to know what I don’t know.

But I’ve learned that eventually, staying still feels heavier than taking the leap. That’s usually when I listen to my gut instincts and make a change.

The thing that felt terrifying beforehand mostly turns into relief afterward. Not always, and not right away, but mostly.

What finally tipped the scales for you? It could be a career move, a new city, ending a chapter, or starting a fresh one.

If someone shares a story that hits close to home, let them know. Sometimes just hearing how someone else took the step is the push we need.

The porch light is on. Pull up a chair.
